A Prayer For The Anxious Heart

Unravel my thoughts.

Untangle my fears.

Untrouble my heart.

I take my thoughts captive

And lead them into Your presence.

They become prisoners of truth.

No more spinning.

No more deception.

No more false accusations.

I choose to think on what is true, noble, right and good...

A Prayer For Resilience

Dear Papa,

I praise You for Your strength, grit, and tenacity.

You never lose. You never give up.

Make my spirit buoyant, like a lighthouse on the water.

Make me Lion-hearted, stubborn with fearless obedience...

A Prayer for An Adventurous Spirit

Dear Papa,

I praise You for being the Creator and Sustainer of adventure.

You have invited me into this wide-eyed adventure of following Jesus.

Prepare my steps. Provide the way.

Silence my trepidations. Boost my faith.

Raise my courage. Increase my resolve.

Break the false spirit of fear over my life.

Twelve is here! Available now.

Hello friend! The CD's have finally arrived. For now, they are only available in a physical format. (They aren't up on iTunes yet.) If you would like to hear some of the songs, head over to FreedomSoundtrack.com to listen. You can order your albums there or on my website. Either way, Jill & I will split the proceeds and use it towards ministry and furthering the good news.   //   Sorry to keep this so brief, but I am heading off to another ladies retreat in a few minutes. I pray your week is going well and that God continues to refresh you as you spend time with Him. On a quick aside, I think Jesus loves spiritual hunger. I think He shows up to those with expectant, wide-open hearts. If you want more of God, just tell Him. Ask Him. Show your hunger by creating space and quiet in your schedule to listen and tune in. Special things happen when we do this.   //

2 Chron. 16:9 says,

"For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His." (NASB)

A Prayer for the Striving Heart

I commit to walk in Your Word and Your ways.

Come set the pace. Come make me brave.

With peace in my right hand, and trust in my left,

I let go of striving, and enter Your rest.

Hope Already In Progress

A couple weeks ago I wrote about my conversation with God...the journey of healing He is taking me on. November seems to be the month He whispered to me a few years ago.But I need to come right out and say it. My hope is not in November. It's not in the healing. It's in the Healer. It's in Jesus. And there's a big difference.
