A Prayer For Identity

Dear Papa,

Restorer of Dignity,

Adopter of Orphans,

Treasure of Heaven,

I worship You

And celebrate who I am because of You.

Your wounds, Your bruises, Your stripes

Have healed my identity.

Your blood, Your love, Your death

Have sealed my eternity.

I am yours, and You are mine.

You burst on the scene with salvation.

You silence every false accusation.

Bind me in truth.

Bleach me in grace.

Build Your Kingdom in me.

Your resurrection is my victory.

I am not ruined, but ransomed.

I am not forgotten, but favored.

I am not belittled, but beloved.

I am who You say I am;

Fearfully and wonderfully made.

I stand in agreement with You

about who I am.

In Jesus Name,

Amen.

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
